On Sunday we packed up the hotel room, checked out and drove down river a bit to see what we could see before heading back to the Duty Free shop and over the Rainbow Bridge back into the U.S. We found the huge Souvenir City gift shop and we stopped at Whirlpool Gorge but didn't get to see much in the line of whirlpools since we didn't feel like hiking down into the gorge in the pouring rain and being soaked for the long drive home.
